Default AMQP Consumer Uses too much CPU

    Hi All,

We're trying to use the following code in a UDJC to consume messages from a RabbitMQ queue, it works - but it uses a lot of CPU. Any thoughts about ways to make it more efficient?

    Thanks in advance.

This is a really old post, but did you ever improve the situation? I don't see anything obviously bad in the code around the PDI side of things, you seem to be doing the right things.

There is a native step plugin now - the IC AMPQ plugin. In fact there's a few code snippets on Github.

Oh the only thing I can see is that your timeout is 5s and the comment says it's 15s :-) Hey; I can't help it, thats the tester in me coming out...
