Default .kettle folder access by Mutilple user

    Hi

I have .kettle folder in "sangupt" user folder. I want to use the same .kettle folder from user "abc" but not able to access the same folder.

Can you please tell me where and how should i create the .kettle folder so that every user can access it.

    Please help me.

    Thanks in Advance!

    Regards
    Sandhya Gupta

If you are using Linux or another Unix-like system, you could put the kettle.properties file in a folder that both "sangupt" and "abc" can access, and then create symbolic links to that file in each user's .kettle subdirectory under their home directories. I haven't tried that myself, but it should work.

    Think twice!

This folder is for user related stuff only.
If there is something in there, that qualifies for shared access or is application related, it is a design flaw and one should create a jira to rectify it.
So long, and thanks for all the fish.

    Change the KETTLE_HOME variable, see:

    Cheers,
