    Default JRubik and Mondrian

    Hi,

I have a mondrian embedded Server which is run under the URL http://192.168.0.224:8080/mondrian-embedded/

My JRubik is on an other machine. How I have configure JRubik in that way that it gets its data from my mondrian embedded Server?

Has JRubik an integrated mondrian Server?

    Best Regards

JRubik uses its own integrated server. You just need a local copy of your cube and point it to the main database backend.

    Hello Tom,

I have a business application (written in Java) with a client/server architecture. I want integrate mondrian in this application. The mondrian must be central, that means all the clients have to use just one the same mondrian server.

To realize this I need a interface to the mondrian server, which gives me the possibility to send MDX queries to get all needed information.

In JRubik all this is no problem because it has its own integrated mondrian server.

Is it somehow possible to realize the solution which I need?

Is there APIs which can I use in my clients?

Is it possible to use XMLA?

Or is the only possibily to send HTTP request to the server from the clients and parse the result?

    Best regards

    Have a look at: http://mondrian.pentaho.org/

There you will find some information regarding OLAP4J the new Java API ans other Mondrioan resources.

    Hello,

when I use olap4j for the integration of mondrian and my desktop business application, must I have write a server side service which I have to call from my application to communicate with mondrian?

Or asked in other way. Can I use olap4j just server side, or is it possible to use it on client side?

    Best regards

    Hi,

i must use Jrubik to execute my MDX queries. But when i load the xml schema named "Schema.xml". it shows me this error:

Mondrian Error:Internal error: Virtual file is not readable: C:\JRubik-src-0.9.71\data\resources\catalogs\schema

    Do you have any idea?
