    Default transformation parameter bug?

Hi, I have this problem: I have defined a parameter p1 in a transformation (in the properties, as expected named parameter), but spoon can't see it (ctr+space opens a list without it).
If I type it manually, it never gets substituted with the actual value that I have specified as the default, it passes thru as ${p1} (literally)
    I'm using 4.4.2 compiled under win7x64.

You already know, that the parameter names are case sensitive?

That's ok, you only see variables in the list, not named parameters. Look out for your parameter in the setup dialog, when starting the transformation in Spoon.
So long, and thanks for all the fish.

Thanks marabu, obviously I know that named parameters are case sensitive, what I did not know is that they are not available in the variables lists in Spoon (which imho is wrong and counterintuitive, as once the transformation is running they are actually variables)

    Hi Pietro.
If you think that PDI should behave in a different way, you can always request a change:
