Default user defined java class passing all the variables

    Hi,
How do I pass all the variables with scope as "root" be made available to the transformation /job
executed using user defined java class?
We can do setVariable() to get for each variable. But do we have an approach/method by which by default all the variables will be passed
to the transformation or job executed by the java class?
it seems that variables set in previous steps of the same job run is not available to the transformation executed by the java class.
    Regards,
    Pramod.

I have no problem to access a root scoped variable in a UDJC step, that was defined in some previous job entry.
So long, and thanks for all the fish.

i want the job which is being invoked by the udjc to a have access.i have a transformation that explicitly set all the variables required
    for the entire dw.
the source of variable are a property file,a variable "load-date" from select sysdate from dual.
The job invoked by udjc can get variables that are fetched from property file but not the load-date variable .
