Question Spoon question: How Use Chrome instead of Internet Explorer?

On the Welcome tab in Spoon, whenever I click a link to view online documentation, it opens Internet Explorer to view the web page, even though Chrome is my default browser. Is there any way to configure Spoon to open Chrome instead?

I use PDI 4.4.0 CE on Windows 7 (64-bit), but I've seen this behavior in all versions of Spoon on all versions of Windows that I have used.

nice one. when I started using PDI I thought about that - but it was quite a while before coming to the forums, so I never remembered to ask...
shouldn't PDI open the default browser whenever a link is activated?

    Obviously not...
Seems like it has somthing to do with the "swt.jar" (see: for more details)
But I could not figure on how to modify the browsertype

I know it is a 10 year thread, but... I "solved" my problem by renaming the file /opt/data-integration/docs/English/welcome/index.html to index2.html.
