Default how to pass a value to a parameter in a transform.

    Hi ,
I want to pass max(numeric field) and min(numeric field) to a parameter defined in the job through a transform to do calculation.

how can i do this so that the max and min values are available to all the transforms in the job.

In the transformation that determines the min and max value, use a Set Variables step and select the scope according to your requirements.
So long, and thanks for all the fish.

when I started reading I thought "why not a simple 'copy rows to result'?" - but then I saw the "available to all transforms in the job". Variables is your way to go.
Just don't forget to set the variable scope appropriately - parent job, grand-parent job, root job - as you need it
