I have a transformation that has to update values in a Memory table with various update steps. When I run (actually preview) this transformation locally on my machine, it does exactly what I expect. When I run it on the remote slave server, nothing is updated. When I uncheck 'Use batch updates' in the update step, then it update the rows in the database.

Now I can understand the logic that 'batch update' may be 'commit' which is not supported by the Memory table type. But why does it work when I run the transformation locally? The transformation behaves differently on for me unknown reasons.

I am running Kettle / Spoon 4.3.0 on my Mac, I don't know the Carte version. It is installed around July / August 2012.
