    Default Row Level Security

    Hello,
    I'm trying to define in my business model control row-level security, but does not seem to do anything.
    To give you an idea, in my business view I have a table with a user field, in the model I have defined a Global Constraint that I initially filtered by a particular user, something like:

    [<id_table>. <id_colum>] = "myuser".

    I keep my metadata and published it in pentaho. I have a report that pulls the metadata, and displays data including user and returns all rows without filtering by the user that I am indicating.
    Does anyone have idea that I may be missing?
    My version of the meta data editor and pentaho server is 4.8.
    Thanks in advance and best regards.

    It's an old post, but i'm hunting for my answer......
    I hope you could use the problem, but if not

    Double Click left side on your business model (label) and find Global Cosntraints in the tree!

    Global Constraint: (because your usernames in a real table column and not a role...)

    [BT_TABLE_NAME.BC_COLUMN_NAME]=USER();

    USER() is the logged in user name.
