Hive DB Connection problem

Hi,

I am trying to connect Pentaho with Hive. I am getting the following error:
Error connecting to database: (using class org.apache.hadoop.hive.jdbc.HiveDriver) Invalid URL jdbc.hive://localhost:10000

Can you provide the settings steps? I tried to copy the Hive Jars to Pentaho JDBC folder but I still have problem.

One thing that's obviously wrong is the '.' in your URL. Try jdbc:hive://localhost:10000
