Default Install Business Intelligence Server on Windows 7

I’m trying to install Pentaho BI Server on my laptop, with Windows 7 professional 64 bit.

    What did work:

Navigate to http://sourceforge.net/projects/pentaho/, then click Files and then click Business Intelligence server
Then downloaded 5.0.1-stable and extracted this to a folder

Then went to Advanced System Settings – Environment Variables and added “JAVA_HOME” as System Variable pointing to C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.7.0.

    Then double-clicked start-pentaho.bat.

    Then entered url in IE:
    http://localhost:8080

    What does not work:

The result is a message saying “Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage”.

    How should I proceed?

    This work for me: http://anonymousbi.wordpress.com/201...llation-guide/

    - JDBC not necessary download
    - Scripts create_jcr_mysql.sql, create_quartz_mysql.sql and create_repository_mysql.sql are in "biserver-ce\data\mysql5".

Meanwhile I installed a MySQL server and rebooted. One of these or the combination of these apparently helped.
