Thread: Constant Steps - can you pass a parameter or variable into a constant?

  1. #1

    Question Constant Steps - can you pass a parameter or variable into a constant?

    I have a series of constants that I use to build out a command line argument. I wanted to know (to make the transforms portable) if I can pass a Named Parameter example ${foo} into a constant? I have not been able to do it.

    Example:

    Constant = C:\test\some_command.exe -d -a blah blah

    Now I would like to make part of the constant with variables/parameters:

    Constant = ${foo} -d -a blah blah

    Let me know if this is possible.

    Default

    Use "Get Variables" for this.
    So long, and thanks for all the fish.
