Default Stopping the report mid way if it's taking long time?

    Hi Taqua,

I just want to know whether there is any possibility to stop the report execution mid way if the process is taking long-time after the report has started? I am using PRD 3.9 with postgresql database. Is it possible to stop the report during processing?

    Thanks in advance,

    Raj

The BI-Server does not offer a way to track requests and to send signals to them. Technically, the reporting engine listens for the "Thread#interrupt" signal and can abort the processing (but usually not any database operation, as this depends on your JDBC driver and database vendor, not the reporting code), but with no way to signal the thread to stop, you are out of luck.
