Birt and export excel Pentaho (xaction)

It is possible in pentaho to make an action sequence (xaction) to export a report created in birt performed in excel format xls?

From the design studio, the avaliable options are: html/pdf

Hi Juarodco - I cannot speak for Birt specifically, but if it cannot output to a desired format then having it as part of an Action Sequence will not either. The other issue that you are going to face is that when the action sequence creates the xls, it would have to be located somewhere that both the server and user have access to.
