Default Problems with Reporting PRD and Community Data Access CDA

i have a problem with reporting when CDA is enabled inside (Datasource Community Data Access).
system is 5.0.1 and updated CDA to latest (version 107)
its not possible to execute a report on server PUC, the error in the background is:

09:52:39,710 ERROR [AbstractReportProcessor] 970849598: Report processing failed.
    org.pentaho.reporting.engine.classic.core.ReportDataFactoryException: Failed to send request

09:52:39,712 ERROR [SimpleReportingComponent] [execute] Component execution failed.

09:52:39,713 DEBUG [ExecuteReportContentHandler] Failed to generated content

in report designer the execution is working without problems but if uploaded on server, the above error occurs, report is tested with the /public/plugin-samples/cda/cdafiles/sql-jndi.cda

and report sample-report-cda.prpt path is localhost:8080

question must the report designer also be updated with correct cda libs ? or is it a real bug

Important Note: this is only happening with sql.jndi with other types its working see also post Thread: unable to export query output to .xls from cda editor

ok solve the problem with finding this post

ISSUE: PRPT CDA Datasource issue from within PUC

problem is you are NOT allowed to use the local API calls, this can be configured under Edit Datasource disable "Allow local API calls instead of HTTP calls "
then you can upload it to PUC and its working

is the local API call only for Report Designer Usage ?

    thanx for answer

Actually that's a bug on the 5.0 EE codeline

It'll be definitely fixed for 5.1. But it should work fine with 5.0.1 CE.
You should be able to use local API calls.

yes if i use it only in report designer it works perfect, but after upload to server and calling it there i get the exceptions

there ONLY works at the moment the solution i found here ISSUE: PRPT CDA Datasource issue from within PUC

thanx for info that it will be fixed in 5.1
