Default XML read disables Prune path

I'm reading very large XML files using Get XML Data step. I would like to use the "Prune path to handle large files" option which improves performance drastically.
However, if I accept the files from previous step (by checking "XML source is defined in a field?"), spoon disables the Prune path option. Any suggestions?

Doing some tests, even though "Prune path" option is disabled in spoon UI when accepting filename in a field, PDI still uses this field to prune large xml files during execution.
It sounds like spoon bug disabling the "Prune path" in UI.

That's good detective work! If this is not already reported as a bug, you should do so.
