    Default rest url from xaction

    Is there any way to call a URL (rest url) from xaction ..?

    I would like call a URL , let that be "http://localhost:8080/pentaho/api/system/refresh/mondrianSchemaCache" for a moment .
    Tried using JavaScript , but .
    Can some one help me to know how can we call URL from Xaction ..?

    Tried below code , but no result
    var xmlhttp;
    var url = "http://localhost:8080/pentaho/api/system/refreshmondrianSchemaCache";
    xmlhttp.open('GET',url,true);
    xmlhttp.send(null);

    Not sure , this clear_mondrian_schema_cache.xaction is part of 5 . I cannot find this from Repository .

    I'm sure you got this sorted but for people landing here looking for how to flush the cache in > 5.0 and wondering where the xaction is, there's a web service available:

    http://admin:<password>@<host>:<port>/pentaho/api/system/refresh/mondrianSchemaCache


    This is equivalent to clicking Tools > Refresh > Mondrian Schema Cache from the PUC.

    Expect a blank web page if running from a browser.
