Smile Novel data structures for mining frequent itemsets

In recently, I have proposed three kinds of data structure for fast mining frequent itemsets, which has proven to greatly enhence the processing of discoverying frequent itemsets. For details, Please see the following papers.

The Java versions of PrePost and FIN have been released in the SPMF library (http://www.philippe-fournier-viger.com/spmf/).

    Dear Denny,
Thanks for the information given about these your 3 papers. Please, I am new to concept of itemsets and sequential pattern mining but I need them in my research. I want to extract patterns from textual data. I have text instances with 2 classes. How do I use sequential pattern mining for extracting the features. I have read a number of papers in the literature but they don't give detailed info of how they used the concept. Can you suggest some good elementary material that i can study. I plan to run Apriori algorithm of SPMF library. Thanks.

the book "frequent pattern mining" edited by charu c.aggarwal and jiawei han may be a very good material.
you can download the book from http://www.charuaggarwal.net/freqbook.pdf freely.
