Hey everyone! it's been a while =)

easy question: is any new hash algorithm going to be implemented on Kettle? I mentioned "add a checksum" step on the thread title, but Calculator would be nice too for files.

I mean this because I rememebr that some time ago I had to get SHA-256 hash of a file for generating protocol before uploading it to a remote site, and I had to work this around with "Execute a process" step, instead of PDI itself calculating the checksum...

All these other SHA-types have been around for a while - not seeing them implemented just makes me think that no one before has ever needed it.

(just for curiosity, I thought about this while thinking on different ways of creating a single primary key for some new tables... SHA-1 or the others already implemented work just fine, it just reminded me of that problem I mentioned up there)
