Question Pentaho to build SSAS Reports

    Hello everyone,

I've already builded a cube in SQL Server Analysis Service (SSAS), I have all dimensions, fact tables, measure, etc. but I'm looking for a tool just to visualize the data and build some dashboard via web. Can I do that with Pentaho? or Do I have to build the cube in mondrian to use pentaho?.

    Thank for your help.

    Yes, in theory.
However, I tried it last year and found it rather buggy at the time. And I'd be worried about how it would scale.
I ended up setting it aside to work on other things.
    Specifically, I tried using
the Olap4j XML/A driver in Pentaho Reporting
You can retrace some of my experiences from

Others have tried integrating with SSAS via Pentaho Data Integration
You can find some general background at http://www.datamensional.com/2012/03...aho-reporting/

I'd be interested in hearing how you get on.
