    Default Schedule a pentaho job in a unix environment

    I want to schedule a pentaho job in a unix environment.
    Can I get a .exe from my pentaho solution and run it from a sh
    Do i need Pentaho to be installed in my unix system?

    Any advice wil be greatly apreciatted

    First thing is that .exe is not supported by unix system.
    You can create a job in PDI and schedule it there only. For that your PDI should be opened.
