Hitachi Data System and Pentaho Corporation

Hi,

I got the news that Hitachi Data Systems announced to acquire Pentaho Corporation.

So just want to know about future of Pentaho Community.

It will be available for free cost after deal ? or it will stop to create next Community version ?

Please provide information, so we can change our scenario.

Hi I'm Michael Hay from HDS and we don't have any intention of discontinuing or changing the flavor of the Pentaho Community. In fact the Open Source ecosystem surrounding Pentaho was one of the chief value propositions!

Hi I'm Michael Hay from Hitachi Data Systems. Just to be clear we want to further not interrupt the Pentaho Community. This means that the Community Edition will remain as is and advance according to contributions from the Community and engineers at Pentaho. Not only that but the open source ecosystem and Community that Pentaho has developed over the years was part of our internal value proposition for the acquisition.
