Default multiselect result as a parameter for a PDI datasource

I have a multiselect selector, and I want to pass the selection as a parameter to a PDI datasource.
Currently, I have an error because PDI receives an object. In the error message I see something like (Ljava.lang.Object;@79b6f80d)

Is it a way to accomplish what I need?
    thanks

I'm trying to remember the steps...

CSVTEXT is part of the magic... Your multiselect is an array, and when you do a ToString on it, you get the object reference, rather than the values in the array. http://jira.pentaho.com/browse/PDI-9631 suggests CSVTEXT method.

However, you still need to parse the parameter within PDI before you can use it... and I'm not sure how a , in one of your values will play through.

if you have selected: (1) Param (2) Value (6)Other, CSVTEXT will convert it to "Param, Value, Other" which you would then need to pull apart within PDI to make them in to queryable values.
