    Default Access logs

    Hi, i'm trying to create a log which registered the wrong accesses to bi-server, this log should store the of the user who tried to log into the server and the date of this access.
    Anyone know how ?

    Thanks !

    Default

    Finally I found a valid solution for me, I made the following change in log4j.xml file:

    <category name="org.springframework.security">
    <priority value="WARN"/>
    </category>

    After editing this file, I created a shell script that searches into pentaho.log the following string "AuthenticationFailureBadCredentialsEvent" and with each line found create the new log file needed.
    It will be something like this:

    #!/bin/bash
    #
    date=`date +"%Y-%m-%d"`

    cat /SmallHDD02/pentaho/biserver-ce/tomcat/logs/pentaho.log |
    grep "AuthenticationFailureBadCredentialsEvent" |
    awk -v date="$date" '{gsub(/;/, ""); if($1 == date) print $1 " " substr($2,0,9) "\t" $8 "\t\t Authentication Failure \n"}' >> NameNewLog.log
