Default How to filter emails by Subject

    Hi All,

I am new to this forum and hope I can get answer for this simple question.

I am using Kettle 4.1 and wondering syntax/Regular expression that should be used to filter emails by subject in step "Email Messages Input".I have a requirement to read emails only with subject containing a particular work in it.
Let me know if you need more information

    Thanks,
    Arjun

There are multiple ways like Filter step, java script, Java Filter.

Describe little more about your expectations.

    HI NItin,

As I understand in the email messages input step, you can filter emails by sender, receipient and subject. So trying to find out if we can filter emails by subject

For example I want pull any emails having word "WorkOrder" in the subject.

    Create Work orderxxxx
    COmplete WorkOrder zzzz

Hope that explains my requirement.Just checking if thats possible?Name: screenshot.jpg

    Hi.
Never used this step, but I suspect that you need to use a Regexp to filter your subject.
In order to create a correct regexp, there are few website where you can enter your expression and test it against few lines of data.
