Default Data Error Handling - best practices

    Hi Gurus,

What are the best practices of handling "regular" data errors in PDI?
Everybody implements some handling for predictable situations like File not found, Input file contains erroneous rows, Table input failed because of duplicated keys, so on.
I'm wondering if it's worth to create 1 reusable transformation with error message, originating component and similar place holders and use it everywhere?
If this is convenient and doable in PDI I believe it was done thousands of times, could someone point me to example? If not it would be good to know why.

    Thanks in advance,
    Sveta

You can't build one transformation to handle all possible errors, because HOW you should handle those errors are different on each transformation.
