Using BIRT OUTPUT with Kettle

I' m using BIRT OUTPUT STEP component to Kette (Matt) for send reports via mail. It work perfect when I run it over graphic interface of kettle but when i run using kitchen (JOBS) and pan (TRANSFORMATIONS) it alway say BIRT Output - java.lang.ClassCastException: org.eclipse.birt.report.engine.api.impl.ReportEngineFactory cannot be cast to org.eclipse.birt.report.engine.api.IReportEngineFactory Somebody has worked with this step, What could be the problem?????.

It look like the version of ReportEngine don't work with pan or kitchen

I haven't had the time to investigate what causes this, but this only occurs with the 2.6.2 engine, which is installed by default in the plugin.
You can easily upgrade the embedded BIRT engine by removing the contents of the plugins/step/BIRTOutput/lib and libext/ReportEngine folders, and copying over the jars from a more recent (e.g. 3.7.2) BIRT runtime (all jars from ReportEngine/lib).

That is true, I've working with diferent versions of BIRT and I can see that I have to work with the correct version for the BI Pentaho Server that I be working.

Sorry for hijacking an old thread, but I am using this plugin and while it works perfectly well in Spoon, it does not appear to work when using pan or kitchen. I have a feeling it is also related to a library being out of date, but can't for the life of me figure out which one is causing this. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated:
