Default Add geometry type to Kettle

    Hi everyone,

i would like to know how can i add a geometry type so i can read and write on postgis.

my approach is to add a plugin https://github.com/mattyb149/pdi-valuemeta-map fromMatthew Burgess which allow us to add key/value pairs (a map) to be used as a value type in Pentaho Data Integration.

    Name: ValueMetaGeometry.jpg

Can i add a main class directly from geokettle? Where is the main class? Is this a good approach how can i do this?

    thanks in advance.

    Default

    Hi,

I just started using the plugin pentaho-gis-plugins available in the Marketplace. It adds a geometry data type and supports PostGIS. So far it works on version 5.4 and the folks at http://www.atolcd.com are working on updating it to version 6 (https://github.com/atolcd/pentaho-gis-plugins/issues/7).
