Thread: Pentaho 6.0 BI server with Wildfly 8.1 - osgi not loading

  1. #1

Default Pentaho 6.0 BI server with Wildfly 8.1 - osgi not loading

We are trying to run Pentaho 6.0 BI server on Widlfly 8.1.0 on a Linux OS. On startup, we are getting the below error related to osgi framework

JBAS014777: Services which failed to start: service jboss.undertow.deployment.default-server.default-host./pentaho: org.jboss.msc.service.StartException in service jboss.undertow.deployment.default-server.default-host./pentaho: javax.servlet.ServletException: Bundle context attribute [org.osgi.framework.BundleContext] not set in servlet context

We made various attempts of modifying the standalone-full.xml but could mot make it work. Need pointers to make this work.

We got the same problem with Pentaho BA Server 6.1 and following application servers:
    WildFly 10
    JBoss AS 7
    JBoss EAP 6.4

    In the list of components
    https://help.pentaho.com/Documentation/6.0/0D0/160/000
JBoss EAP 6.4 is officially supported application server for pentaho software, but we got the same error as described above:

We checked several times if we made all steps from
    https://help.pentaho.com/Documentation/6.0/0F0/0K0/060
It seems that we did. But the problem persists.
Please, help us to resolve it.
