    Default Salesforce Change API Endpoint

Will there be an update to the various Salesforce adapters to support the fact that the Salesforce API endpoint is changing?

    https://help.salesforce.com/HTViewSo...language=en_US

I notice the latest version of Pentaho Kettle, 6.0.0.0-353 still uses this:

    https://www.salesforce.com/services/Soap/u/21.0

and it should now be this:

    https://login.saleforce.com/services/Soap/u/35.0

where 35.0 is the latest API version of Salesforce for Winter 16.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

You can always setup a URL variable (in /.kettle/kettle_properties file) and then substitute it - 'Salesforce Webservice URL = ${your_salesforce_url_variable}. I do this for the user/password too, so that if things change, you just update in one place.

This is probably the best solution because there's no way the Pentaho releases will keep up with the Salesforce releases.
