Exclamation Hello, is there anyone here? I am Chinese, my English is not good, I have a problem,

    That's the way it is.

Because we need to use kettle to obtain data, then java code through or.Kjb.Ktr acquisition data, also need to access to the data sent to log on,
but there is no need to save to the database, it is probably. So I would like to know the bottom of the Kitchen Kettle and Span in the end is how to run.

I do not know if you can understand my problem, because I am using translation software translation, but I hope someone can help me, give me a talk about the principles or processes, the best information can be sent to me! Thank you!

First of all, thank you for giving me the answer.
But the content is too wide, can be more specific?

If I have a "table entry", "insert / update" operation,
When the.Ktr file is generated, the pan engine is running,
Does it put the data into the temporary warehouse, or directly connected to the database, the data into the database?
If there is this "temporary warehouse", where is the data? Because I want to get data.
    Thank you!

You can make and run a transformation with spoon (the GUI).
You can save that transformation in a database or as a .ktr file.
With PAN you can run that transformation outside the GUI interface. Pan will only run when triggered from outside (like a Winsows task or CRON job). It will then run the transformation and after it finish that transformation it will stop. Pan is not continue running, only when triggered.
When data is written to a database in the transformation it does not matter if you run the transformation in the GUI or by Pan

Well, thank you very much. I have a problem at last,
Can I use the Java code to get the data from the.Ktr file?
Because I have some demand need not to save the data to the database,
but directly to obtain data, and then to send a report or page.

Could you try translating a different word for data?
There isn't any data in the KTR file.

You can think of the contents of the KTR as instructions.
Your data stays in your database, and pan will move it and adjust it the way you tell it to in the KTR instructions.

I wouldn't be surprised if something is getting lost in translation.
You might try looking through http://www.amazon.cn/Pentaho-Kettle%...7755495&sr=8-1

Thank you, I predict that my thoughts are wrong.
Is 'pan' will automatically run, parse the.Ktr file,
Then save the data to the database, or save it to the file.
Before the end of the data storage, can not get the data, and the operation of the data,
    is this right?
Thank you very much for giving me a reply!
