    Default Set environemnt variable with datetime

    Hi,
    how can i set environment varibale of pentaho spoon with datetime.
    what i want to do is:

    i have table with multiple columns and one of then is named "created_at".
    i want to to add a datetime as data when inserting data in this table.
    so i wanted to use a variable for this task

    how can do this?
    transformation=
    i tried Get info system ----set variable
    transformatio2 =
    generate rows --------table output

    job1 =
    transformation1-------transformation2

    but with transformation1 the environment variable is not set

    any help please

    Default

    I use the "Get System Data" node. Then select system date (fixed) from the drop-down. I use a column called etl_date in my tables for monitoring (read: if max(etl_date) is a day old, my ETL is not running)
