Default Create new column in database after calculations from existing database

    Hello All,

I am reading a couple of csv files and loading them to a MySQL database using some transformation steps. My csv files have two columns X and Y which have some coordinates. From the MySQL database, I am able to run a query to get the distance using the X and Y coordinates. I was thinking if I could add the distance as a column in the same database using Spoon?

I tried using the SQL Script step but I am not successful with it. Can someone let me know if there is a better way to get this done?

    Thanks for your time.

If the distance column already exists, then you can use a Calculator step to compute your "distance" value.
