Default Two Digit Date Conversion Cut Off

I am having an issue trying to convert a date in the format of mm/dd/yy to yyyyMMdd.

Currently, it looks as if the cut off date for Pentaho is -80 years.

An example would be 03/28/36 would then convert to 20360328. I need this to convert to 19360328. But, 03/30/36 converts correctly to 19360330, seeing as today is 20160329.

Changing the cut off date on the SQL server is not an option.

Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction?

    Thanks in advance.

You're having troubles with Java (search for century) - not with Kettle.
You'll have to add your own logic, I'm afraid.
So long, and thanks for all the fish.

    Thanks. I appreciate it.

It pointed me in the right direction. I was looking for get2DigitYearStart().
