Question Compare 2 sets of fields!

Hello. I'm a student and i'm doing a work for a subject and i have a problem with my ETL. My problem is that i need compare 2 sets of fields, because i need compare each field of the set A, with all fields of the set B and compare if each field of the set A exist in set B. I already used the transformation "compare fields" but this didn't work, i think that this just compare row by row from each set and i don't want this as i already explained. So, i want know if someone know how can i do this in pentaho data integration?
Thanks for your help and i'm waiting for a response.
    Best regards,
    Leonardo Toledo

Yes, it is possible with PDI. We have a whole application built with PDI just for the purpose of comparing results on SQL queries which can run on different DB instances. Unfortunately it is company property and I am not allowed to distribute it.
If the data comes from a database, try the Table compare step (you can let it compare views as well as tables).
