Thread: build from source ba-server

    Default build from source ba-server

    I'm trying to build from source the ba-server .
    I've cloned the project
    https://github.com/pentaho/pentaho-platform.git

    then I have run the command
    ant -f dev_build.xml dev-rebuild
    with success .

    When it finisched I've searched the pentaho.war but I haven't found it .

    So I have tried with

    ant -f dev_build.xml ce-build-all

    but I've got the error

    /opt/workspace/pentaho-platform/assembly/build-res/subfloor.xml:892: impossible to configure ivy:settings with given url: file:/opt/workspace/pentaho-platform/ivysettings.xml : java.io.FileNotFoundException: /opt/workspace/pentaho-platform/ivysettings.xml (No such file or directory)

    I've also tried with :

    ant -f dev_build.xml dist-full

    but i've got this error :

    compile.compile:
    [javac] /opt/workspace/pentaho-platform/assembly/build-res/subfloor.xml:1560: warning: 'includeantruntime' was not set, defaulting to build.sysclasspath=last; set to false for repeatable builds

    BUILD FAILED
    /opt/workspace/pentaho-platform/assembly/build-res/subfloor.xml:1560: srcdir "/opt/workspace/pentaho-platform/src" does not exist!

    can someone give me some hits ?
    thanks for any answer

    Default

    solved .
    i've added the target package to the target dev-rebuild as follow

    <ant antfile="assembly.xml" dir="${assembly.dir}" inheritall="false">
    <target name="clean-all" />
    <target name="resolve" />
    <target name="assemble" />
    <target name="package" />
    </ant>
    </target>

    in this way i've got the ce distribution zip file in the assembly dist file .
