Default Inserting New Row in Pentaho

I have the following two tables:
    Name: ForForum.jpg
Views: 524
Size: 15.7 KB
I want to append the second table to the first, so that SYSNAME, OBJSTRUC, AddChange, EN appear as the header/field names.
Is there a way to do this in Pentaho?

    I am new to Pentaho

Yes, I'm sure your problem can be solved using Pentaho Data Integration aka Kettle.

So there's a source table in a database with a lot of columns (sa, sb, sc, sd, se, sf, ...), and a target table with only 4 columns (ta, tb, tc, td).
Rows from the source table are to be added to the target table in such a way, that for each target column a certain source column must be selected.
The tables aren't managed by the same RDBMS, therefore a simple SQL statement (INSERT INTO ... SELECT) can't solve the problem.

    If that's your problem:

Table-Input can provide a projection of the source table via SELECT sa AS ta, sb AS tb, sc AS tc, sd AS td FROM source
Table-Output can insert rows into the target table.

BTW: Your attached images are almost unreadable.
So long, and thanks for all the fish.
