    Default How to give Carte more memory?

    Hi!

    We are running quite big production environment with Pentaho 5.4. on Linux.

    We have one pentaho server and one server running carte service.

    We doubled up the memory in both servers from 192G -> 348G. Both servers have 16 cpus.

    In pentaho server we changed in ctl.sh max mem to 150G -> 250G.

    How to do the same in carte-server? In carte.sh there aint any rows connected to mem usage direct.

    No good google answers either found.

    Cheers,
    -skott-

    Seems to me the carte.sh just adds some options and parameters and runs spoon.sh, and you can set the memory usage there, in this block:

    if [ -z "$PENTAHO_DI_JAVA_OPTIONS" ]; then
    PENTAHO_DI_JAVA_OPTIONS="-Xmx3600m -XX:MaxPermSize=512m"

    Thanks, Lukfi!
    Added those rows (tuned the Xmx) and bounced carte. Monitoring situation.
