For the database name, this is the full syntax I used:

    (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS_LIST=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=localhost)(PORT=1521)))(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVICE_NAME=PDBORCL)))

    Asking for assistance please.

What happens if you just put "PDBORCL" as the Database Name? I don't think it accepts parts of the Oracle connection string.

    Hello,

From what I can see from your snapshot, your host name blank. If you are making a jdbc connection fill in the host name (or ip address) and a database name (e.g. testdb). Next select the 'Test' button. Hopefully all goes well.
