Good day!
I lost a button with a connection to the repository. What to do?
At first I had a white window, I reinstalled Java, and then lost a button.

Did you manage to resolve this? Or does anybody have any ideas? We are having the same problem.
I received the following workaround from Pentaho Customer Support, which solved the problem for me. No word yet on what the cause is and if they will address the cause...
The plugin here is failing to load or is taking too long to load with the startup of karaf.
Keeping in mind the above, can you please try the below?
- Navigate to `design-tools\data-integration\system\karaf\caches\spoon
- You should see `data1folder in there or sometimes couple of them
- Clear the contents of data1 and data2 ( if you have it )
- Re-start Spoon
Delete data-1 folder doesnt work for me. Anybody has another solution?
Got it! This thread works for me: http://forums.pentaho.com/showthread...ght=repository
I tried this and connect button appears. After you relaunch Pentaho again it disappears.
Any permanent solution for this issue or is it a bug in v7.1?
Using Pentaho CE 8.2 and the same happened to me. I was able to figure out that the problem was repositories.xml backed up from a 7.0 version. If I delete it, the button appears. I thought that it would be compatible...
