    Default Email with changing destinations

    Hi,

After my development, I need to send an email to some users notifying some errors. The problem I have is that these users are not always the same.
I have the email addresses stored but I don't know how to read them.

I am used to send emails to the same adresses all time, but not when these addresses are changing every time the process runs.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you in advanced.

Technically, you can send mails via SMTP in two ways with Kettle:

    • The Mail job entry is controlled via variables (or constants). If you know the recipients of your notification mail at start-time you would use this way.
    • The Mail step is run for each input row, taking its control parameters from fields. If you learn about the recipients at run-time, this is the way to go.

    So, what's your scenario?
So long, and thanks for all the fish.

I will know the recipients at run-time.
But I don't know how to manage the variables.

There must be something you know that I don't because you already have decided to use variables.
    Please, provide more information.
So long, and thanks for all the fish.
