Default Prevent Zero result reports from being emailed

I have a Transformation that 1) queries my db 2) returns records for each of my 8 branch offices 3) creates a Report for each office (REport Designer report) 4) emails respective report to each Branch Office manager.

I want to suppress sending out reports to offices that have no records on any given "report run". I tried using the Simple Evaluation but without success.

    Thoughts?

I had the same problem a couple of years ago. Then empty reports where created with a file size of 0 bytes. Then I checked the file size if a reports must be send yes or no.

Step 1 - Transformation using a SQL SCRIPT to get the Records used in the Report.
Step 2 - Used SIMPLE EVALUATION Job condition to evaluate a Parameter from the report data. If PASS, continue to Create Report, if FAIL, abort JOB.

I find this an exact solution over evaluating the File Size, which, depending on Report Definition and Headers, may differ from time to time, and not necessarily be a 0 byte file.

Thanks for the suggestion. It lead me to my final solution which, was tedious to build but is bulletproof!
