    Default Run executable Jar from Kettle

    Hello Friends,

    I have executable jar file. How can i run it through pentaho job/transformation. I heard there is task in Pentaho Job , using that task, this is possible. But i have no idea.
    Could you please help me.Thanks!!

    Any clue? need to call JAR file in pentaho..If so, need the syntax of the command and the respective task. thanks!

    Just FYI...I am able to run the jar file using shell script task in pdi job using the below command:

    java -jar myjarfile.jar (make sure you give the complete path of Java and myjarfile)

    Yes I do it like this but the process step can't handle big stdout outputs. Better to do a bootstrap shell script and call this.
