Pentaho Reporting .txt output returns a Arrow symbol at the end of file.

The problem is with .txt output from pentaho reporting (All versions).

1.An arrow symbol or Special character comes at the end of file.
2.How do i set file .txt dynamic height where extra lines come in the report and it should end at the point where report content end.

I have been facing this problem from a long.I have to remove it every time manually.I have attached the file.

This appears to be a page break

I copied the character from the file and pasted it into a word document and it was the same result as a page break

Perhaps look at your page-behaviour settings and set avoid-page-break ​to true

Tks @Deanicus for your reply and I have tested it with a basic example (Avoid page break: Ture) and Even it is true in my report also.I have attached a basic example, Please check it once.

I tried various things and couldn't get it it to work.

After a little more research it appears that this is the form feed character. It appears that PRD outputs this information with every text file but simple programs like Notepad do not understand it and simply display the character

It can be removed using Pentaho Data Integration though. See here for more information

Thanks Deanicus for your research, I am trying some alternative.I think any senior member from pentaho can help us to find the better way to solve this problem.
Otherwise, Use of Data Integration is final.

I was just thinking, does it have to be a plain text file?

Could you use RTF?

No, I can't use RTF since the requirement is to generate.txt file for some utility agent.
