Default Help filtering rows from a list of values

Hi, I'm a total beginner at Pentaho Kettle and its mind blowing what I was able to do with it already (not much). But as I tried different things I got kinda stuck with something that I belive is pretty simple.

What I want to do is filter data from a csv file based on the values of a colunm that matches a list of values that are in another file. Normaly I would do this in excel using VLOOKUP then removing the rows that are not matched.

In Kettle, I've looked up on wiki and tried using the "Filter Rows" step to insert multiple values in the filtering conditions separated by ";", like this: 2200;2201;2202;... But it doesnt seem to work.

Also tried adding the file with the values to filter to the transformation then using the field from it as the condition to filter, but it didn't work (not the same number of colunms in both files).

Lastly I thought about using a "Merge Join"step, but havent figured out how to do it properly.

    Any directions?

Actually, you can do something similar to VLOOKUP with Kettle.
