Question Replace line break from .txt

    Hi!

I am trying to replace a line break (enter) that is already in a .txt.
Line one represents the wrong way (with line break in ProdName) and line two represents the way it should stay after substitution.
Remembering that this data already comer from the customer through an extraction procedure where it would be much easier to put a replace in the select, but you know how customers are.

    Someone can help? Thanks!

Tell us why CSV-File-Input doesn't work for you.

    Hello,

Not being an expert on Pentaho DI, I did not know the tool. For this reason I was using Text File Input.
I just tested CSV and it really works better for my cases, so i will change all my Text File Input to CSV File Input.
I would like to go deeper into Pentaho DI, would there be any site/article to pass me by?

I really appreciate the time it took to help me!

    I recommend https://www.packtpub.com/big-data-an...tegration-8-ce
I have an earlier version of it. It's actually written by one of the members of this forum!

You can also learn a lot from the samples in the samples directory!

Not a good idea. Both steps have distinct features. Learn about them and decide which step to use according to your requirements.
