I notice that when I want to download the community edition of Pentaho BI server, suddenly I am forced to give my information. I and my employees don't want to do this. Also I think it's against the new GDPR law. How do I get around this nonsense?

I think I find the answer myself? Sourcforge:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/pentaho/files/ ?
I'm not getting prompted for any information from
https://sourceforge.net/projects/pen...5.zip/download

What link are you trying to hit for the download?
Originally I am going through community.pentaho.com and then I end up here:

That's the best guess I've got.
More likely it has to do with the fact that they are moving to a more monolithic design, where all the tools touch deeply into each other, and in order to truly work in any of the client tools (PRD, PDI, etc) you pretty much need all of them (not quite true from what I've found, but I'm an anomaly)
