    Question How to manage PRD file version?

    Hi all,

    Please somebody can help now?

    Is that possibility by configuration in PRD to allow ton open report build with 7.1 version with 6.0 version???

    No. PRD6.0 cannot be configured to open a file created by PRD7.1
    I recall that there is an option when saving the file in PRD7.1 to save it in a prior format, but I don't use PRD any more, so cannot guide you on how to find it.

    Short version: Use the same version throughout your environment.

    A prpt file is just a zip file. So look for the meta.xml within this file and change the version and the Engine to an older version. Save it and then try to open the report in the older version of the designer.

    OK thank, I will make a test with your solution proposition.

    what happen after setting Attribute (compatibility version) in de master report?
    I have change version down and save but it don't work. Why?
