    Default Win-RC2-Mbeans/Jboss Error

In RC2(.398), when starting, at the very end of it, I get these error messages. It is the same error messages I get when on RC1.

--- MBEANS THAT ARE THE ROOT CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM ---

    ObjectName: portal:service=JAASLoginModule

    State: NOTYETINSTALLED

    Depends On Me:

    portal:service=CMS

    ObjectName: portal:mapper=PrefixDelegating

    State: NOTYETINSTALLED

    Depends On Me:

    portal:mapper=CMSObject

Also, at the very beginning of it, during the startup, it will complain that it is not able to locate
    c:\\pentaho-demo/jre/lib/tools.jar

PS : I am running this inside a virtual machine.

I have also tried to run it within a Linux Environment and it also fails.

PS : The windows environment, I do not have JAVA installed. (It's supposed to be pre-configured right?)

    Default Re:Win-RC2-Mbeans/Jboss Error

For your windows install try setting your JAVA_HOME to the included jre folder.

For Linux you'll have to be be sure to have Java already installed and your JAVA_HOME and PATH set accordingly.

My Linux JAVA_HOME is set to /usr/java/jdk1.5.0_08/ and the PATH was set accordingly: export PATH=$JAVA_HOME/bin:$PATH

In either case be sure Java version 1.4+ is being used. You are correct about windows though, the JRE is there and you shouldn't need to install it.
