    Default some basic questions

1- Does Mondrian has an Analysis Manager like
    tool ?
If no, how can we create dimensions, cubes
    etc. in Mondrian.
2- How large datasize can be efficiently used by
Mondrian if it uses the underlying database ,
does it mean that Mondrian only supports ROLAP
and there is no MOLAP, HOLAP.
3- Does mondrian has anything like Microsofts DSO
    language.

    Default RE: some basic questions

    1. We started work on a graphical workbench, but it is not complete enough to be usable. You can either write an XML schema file, or create a schema using API calls.
    2. Mondrian uses ROLAP, plus a cache of results that have been computed that session. How large a dataset depends upon the performance of your RDBMS in executing GROUP BY queries, and what you consider to be an acceptable response time. If you use materialized views, you should be able to handle large datasets.
    3. You can create cubes, hierarchies and so forth using the java API, for example, mondrian.olap.Schema.createDimension(Cube,String).
